As of 1 September 2026, PS Media s.r.o. is the distributor and implementation partner of Excalibur for the Czech market. Excalibur is a privileged access management (PAM) platform for servers, databases and web applications. It is developed by the Slovak company Excalibur s.r.o., based in Poprad; in the Czech Republic we supply it under the B2BSoft.cz brand.
What is Excalibur?
Excalibur provides access to internal systems without a direct connection from the user. The protocol (RDP, SSH, VNC or HTTPS) terminates on the Excalibur server and only a stream of the session reaches the user's browser. No credentials are left on the endpoint to be stolen, and every session is recorded and auditable.
Key benefits of Excalibur
- Passwordless sign-in – with a phone (QR code and biometrics) or a passkey, including hardware keys. Deliberately no push notifications or SMS.
- Endpoint isolation – the user's computer never sees the internal network, so an attack from an infected laptop has nowhere to go.
- Full session recording – screen, clipboard, keystrokes and transferred files are recorded, with full-text search in recordings.
- Non-repudiation – actions in a session are cryptographically bound to a specific person, not just to a shared account.
- Browser only – no client or agent is needed on the user side.

Excalibur, NIS2 and DORA
Both NIS2 (implemented in the Czech Republic by Act No. 264/2025 Coll.) and the EU DORA regulation address the same core question: who can access what, how they authenticated and whether there is evidence of it. Excalibur covers exactly this part – multi-factor authentication, separation of administrator accounts and audit records of access, including supplier access. No single tool covers the full scope of obligations.
